A wonderful example of a prattware jug, depicting the classic scenes of the sailor's departure and return. Well moulded and decorated, finely crazed and evenly soot stained. Sublime.

Circa 1790-1800

Approx - 7 inches (180mm) tall.

In good condition with hairlines and minor nibbles.
